Deck Description

Slag fiend, oh swag fiend
Oh prancing like a stag:
Free

Causing chaos
And broken bones

With metal you will grow and grow
Until opponent is no more

And then upon the field I rest
Reinforcing that I'm the best

How to Play

Here is my deck, named after the card that spawned it Swag Fiend (Slag Fiend). Build up your artifact count in your graveyard early and late game your spells will be impossibly powerful and incredibly synergistic.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAINBOARD:

Cranial Plating - This card is a mistake on Wizards part, it is ridiculous. The buff it provides for the low mana cost is sheer madness.

Origin Spellbomb - The spellbomb, Swag Fiend's weapon of choice. This one gives you A.) an instant speed chump blocker that you can just feed to an Arcbound Ravager, B.) an optional cantrip, and C.) food for the Swag Fiend.

Pyrite Spellbomb - This spellbomb is more versatile on the whole than it's sibling but you either get the cantrip or the spell, not both.

Executioner's Capsule - For the price of a B setup cost and some information, you get an uncounterable Doom Blade that puts an artifact in your graveyard and kills Emrakul.

Solemn Simalcrum - Value, chump blocker, value,

Auriok Salvagers - Value is value, no matter how counterproductive.

Swag Fiend - Its a one drop Lhurgoyf for artifacts. IKR!!! They (artifacts) sacrifice themselves anyways!!! So good...

Galvanic Blast - It will usually just be a better Lightning Bolt.

Shrapnel Blast - 1/4th of your opponents health at instant speed? FTW?!?!

Thirst for Knowledge - Instant speed card draw that feeds Swag Fiend! Thirsty much?

Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas -
+1 Dig 5 cards for an artifact? Card advantage? YES

-1 Make a 5/5! Permanently! Turn your Darksteel Citadels into 5/5 Indestructible Artifact Creature Lands.

-4 It drains equal to the number of artifacts? Meh... WAIT!!! TWICE?!?!?! That is good.

Faerie Conclave - Mana mana mana mana mana mana mana mana MANLAND (with evasion).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SIDEBOARD:

Relic of Progenitus - Graveyard hate is key to any sideboard. Good against Gifts Ungiven, Jund, Reanimator, and Eggs.

Torpor Orb - Hoses a lot of combo decks or pod decks. Good against Pod, Splinter-Twin, Faeries, and Control (for Snap-Mage and Restoration Angel).

Spellskite - Incredibly versatile, it hoses the ever popular lightning strike near completely, and reduces Valakut triggers to 2 damage. Good against Scapeshift, R/G or Naya agro (for it's 0/4 body), Splinter-Twin (you can move the aura target to him), Hexproof (for the same reason), and UWR control.

Supreme Verdict - Silver Bullet against problem matchups. Good against Affinity, Infect, and Aggro.

Path to Exile - Replaces Executioner's capsule against black decks.
