Deck discussion for Standard RBW vampire/humans

I really like the creativity here. However, if you'd like my honest opinion here goes...

1. There are too many creatures and not enough spells. There is so much creature removal available, that board sweeps, etc make it very difficult to win with aggro - only.

2. While the doomslayer is a nice card, and I like what you're doing with it - it seems out of place and maybe a fragile addition. I think there are easier ways to accomplish a similar result.

3. Blood seeker is also a little out of place for me. Fume spitter might be a better choice as you can activte mobid and kill at the same time. Probably reduce count from 4 to 2 if you keep a creature in this slot.

4. I really like all the other vamps you have here. Also, the keeper / priest combo looks like it can be very effective. I have those cards and have been salivating at the opportunity to use them. Just haven't done it yet.

5. Rely less on the +1 for the aritocrat. It's already pretty sweet with flying / haste. But, prob wont survive long enough to really get nasty. Probably want to run 2 at most. I prob use her as a "surprise" swing.

6. Fill in the reamining slots with burn, board control, card draw, card-advantage, "surpise cards", etc.

For example:
A. Altars reap... Sac a token and draw 2 cards, then activate morbid & make a demon token with preist. Seems pretty nice. Maybe add 2.

B. Lingering Souls.... Who cares if they are spirits. This is exellent fodder for preist / reap / chump block while we setup / etc. Depending on how much you want to rely on this, add 2-4

C. BURN. Playing red, might as well !!! Arc Trail, Incinerate, Brimstone Volley, and Volt Charge are awesome. Volley might be good since you are activating morbid. Volt Carge is better if you are relying more on adding counters. I like to have about 4-6 burn in most of my multi-color red decks. Usually want to pick the ones that fit the mana curve and deck concepts the best. Red suns zenith is pretty good right now because it exiles - gets rid of undying creatures !!

D. Sneaky stuff. Nighbird's clutches?

E. Card advantage. Despise?

Hope this helps.

i was thinking about turning this back to r/b anyway, however this didn't lose a hand last week in tournament and that was against everything from blue control to human aggro to infect buff, i'll probably wait for it to tank on my before tweaking it that much :) but i will keep this in mind, i was honestly looking at adding red board wipe (blasphemous act) and sac a creature to aristocrat to make her not die then start swinging for as much as possible every turn

like the skirsdag high priest, don't like the Doomsayer. IMO, it's not worth three slots in your deck JUST to give ONE creature a +1/+1. I would take it out for some O-Rings. Since you have plenty of creatures + DOJ+ tragic slip to get rid of creatures, you need a versatile card like O-Rings to get rid of other stuff that may annoy you. If you insist on staying that creature heavy though, I would recommend Adaptive Automaton. It gives ALL your creatures +1/+1 AND it's colorless so it's easier to cast, especially in a three color deck.

the doomsayers aren't for the aristocrats to get bigger, its to use the humans to create perpetual morbid and therefore throw a demon out every turn, i don't know about you, but summoning a 5/5 demon with flying every turn AND making the aristocrat bigger for no mana every turn sounds like a good idea to me

Me personally, I would still rather have make all my other creatures stronger. Or if you really wanted more morbid AND creature buffing you could just put more Sorin's in there. IDK, just never cared for Thraben Doomsayer too much.
