Because a spoonful of Remedy will cure wat ails ya!Prevent damage and stall your opponent with Holy Day and Dawn Charm until Tainted Remedy hits the field, and then ram said Remedy down their throat with Gusto. Give their creatures Lifelink to essentially pacify them for 1 mana. Vampiric Link does the same, only it works without Tainted Remedy since it gives you the lifegain even when attached to an enemy creature. Condemn their strongest attacker if they do feel belligerent still. Play a land and then cackle gleefully as you cast Rest for the Weary against them. Wall of Shards suddenly becomes a threat, too, and can be saved in a pinch with either Cloudshift or Dawn Charm. And of course there is always the insta-kill from Beacon of Immortality, because come on, a Tainted Remedy deck without it? You must be joking, ser!Suggestions are welcome, but do keep the budget in mind! We can't all play Surgical Extraction!

Thanks for reminding me Grollub exists :P Though since Swords to Plowshares is (I think) the only non-Modern card in the deck right now and it is sideboard only I'm considering cutting it in favor of Devour Flesh so I can take it to FNM and see how far I get with it.
