If you were going to drop the Elites, I'm a fan of Drove of Elves with all of the tokens. Just a thought. :)

Dude. I love the idea for this deck. I don't know enough to comment on effectiveness but it looks pretty darn competent.

Either kudos for using my favorite block.

I'm trying to find a way to use Masumaro to kick some butt., myself.

Man. It looks like someone taught you how to set up your mana curve. Whoever did that is a badass because this deck pwns my face.

I really like this deck. I love Kamigawa and I have a lot of Samurai as well. I never realized how good the black Samurai could be.

All in all, I quite like it.

My brother gave me a bunch of his cards after he quit playing, so I could start. I wanted to make him a deck with some of his old stuff as a gift.

I had no idea what to do with two Call to the Graves.

I do now. :D

Good work, mate.

I'm all for Kentaro. He's in my Samurai deck.

I think he's worth it just to unify the mana useage. It's helped me out in a bind.

Just my two cents. :D

I love this deck.I themed my deck after Mr. Kurosawa as well.

As far as Sensei vs. Konda goes, I'd just suggest throwing in Konda on the side-board for playability; what with how much ass he kicks and all.

The Sensei is a beast with his Bushido counters, though. I almost think he'd make a better replacement than Kentaro, personally.

All in all, great work. :D

Kitsune Dawnblades are awfully expensive. If you wanted to lighten up your mana curve a bit, I'd suggest putting in (x2-3) Devoted Retainers. They're good, first turn defenders.

Also; Bushi Tenderfoot can be flipped into a rather strong Legendary. Seeing as you have so much equipment, you might want to try using him and scoring his flip-circumstance early.

Otherwise, beware the Legendary rule and I think you'll kick a great deal of ass.

I'm newish to serious deck-building myself but all I can say is --

Any deck that AIMS to get rid of Planeswalkers has my support. Good luck, mate. :D

Also; I'm looking to make an Elf deck as well and it looks like the (4x) Fauna Shaman's is a definite good move. I plan on putting them in my deck as well.

I think I'm going to dig up some Elvish Champion's as well, just because I like them but they have a newer counterpart that's stronger -- although I don't recall what they are called.

Isao FTW.

He's such a beast.

Good work, mate. I like the deck. Even without the red samoorye.

I REALLY like this deck. It's been the inspiration for the deck I'm building.

Currently I'm having troubles fighting a couple of different kinds of decks, but ultimately I'm doing very well with a very similar build.

All in all, I say it's a job extremely well done.
