In EDH there are some decks that rely on creatures in a graveyard so it's worth having a couple to throw those kinds of decks off their game

Thank you for your comment and confidence, as for this deck, I would say that it looks great. I have always found trouble when I try mono-blue but this looks pretty good. First of all, I think Verdant Catacombs should be Scalding Tarn, as VC has no targets in this deck, and on that note, I do not think 20 land is enough for a counterspell deck to play... Finally, Hedron Crab has no purpose in this deck, and if you are looking for cheap defense, Kraken Hatchling is better

These are not recent cards... here's the deal... Destroy their hand, lands, and creatures using the cards in the deck, while drawing a rediculous number of cards using necropotence and keeping yourself alive with zuran orb and ivory tower

I can see why you would say that but if I'm drawing cards off of Necropotence to overfill my hand I'm losing life to gain life... Also, somebody in my play group plays mill so I don't want to put 20 cards into my hand... Also, what would you take out?

You are kinda missing something... The idea is to run Thopter Foundry so that when you sac Sword of the Meek it comes back... Then you can keep doing that for every mana you can produce and then sac 5 thopters to get an extra turn with Time Sieve

Great deck! The only things that I might suggest are Kor Skyfisher as another way to return creatures and pump QftHR and possibly add 1 or 2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin just in case
