You need walls to make this deck more effective as your creature base is weak> the idea of the walls is to stall the opponent and at the same time mill them. Add more land too. a deck should never have 18 land really.

I agree with Puffermad In addition: Countersquall might be a very good card, but Induce Paranoia fits more with the theme of the deck. Traumatize is one of te best milling cards in the game. Drpp the Ravenous Rats and one of the cutpurses and put in walls. You might also want to throw in Szadek as and an awesome finishing card
szadek is too slow and not always reliable cut the megrim u dont have enough discard and ull want to use the necrosages on urself to keep getting mill maybe consider circu, dimir lobotomist check out my glimpse to nothingness deck im sure ull see some useful tips in it, also mind funeral take out 2 mind shatter or all of them consider using belltower sphinx also go up to 20 lands maybe use the esper tri-lands and u can put in necromancers covenant so once u mill a bunch u can remove all creatures from there graveyard and make a crapload of 2/2 lifelinking zombies? hope this helps some comment on my deck if u need any help or want any
