1. stall with mana leak, lightning bolt, convolute. make sure you do not burn your opponent at all during the game until the end when you kill your opponent, unless he/she gains life. (for the sake of hidetsugu's second rite) 2. get chandra ablaze out as fast as you can, possibly with seething song. 3. make sure chandra doesn't die with convolute, negate, mana leak. 4. use her first ability twice to get one searing wind and either another searing wind, a reverberate, or a hidesugu's second rite in your graveyard 5. user her final ability to deal exactly 20 damage to your opponent, and hopefully win. (if they try to counter one of these final blow cards, counter their countering spell.)

Creative idea. It seems like it might be a little hard to stall long enough to get the combo ready though. Have you actually played with this deck and used the combo?

thanks, but no i have not. the idea just poped into my head. and ya, with or without the seething song its a while to stall, but i can afford to lose a little life in this deck as long as i get the combo out
Will this work on a Goblin Deck? I know it's all counter burn and stuff, but goblins are cheap. I just think this deck is too prone to getting mana screwed. No Offense.
Propaganda would be nice imo, instead of those highcost counters, that will stall many creature decks.
