Deck Description

i would play blue but i don't want to spend like 50 - 60 bucks on frost titans and i feel stupid without them while playing blue.

Sideboard:
gaea: for blue black, possibly white blue control. would take out one lavaball trap or two and/or one or none terastodon, depending on the deck.
overgrown battlement: to replace some combination of cultivate and explore against aggro decks
combust: i would have no way to deal with white blue otherwise. getting out a baneslayer or a sunblast would be bad. i could use a few burn spells but that seems unlikely.
naturalize: in this deck im very afraid of quest for the holy relic decks. this is to help against that and whatever else it might be good for. the mold shamblers and acidic slimes also help, but it seems like i need a little more.
pyroclasm: duh. this decks is not good against decks where almost everything cost one or two, and in that case, pyroclasm does the job.
plummet: in addition to going against blue white control, it helps another huge fear: abyssal persecutor. i have no way to deal with him otherwise. chances of facing him are low, but my only hope would be to destroy their lands so they cant kill him. but when i attack with terastodon or acidic slime, he blocks.

one more thing i'm afraid of is abyssal persecutor. i considered plumet in my sideboard, but considering what is being played and all, i figured combust would be better, allthough this is the one thing it doesn't solve. tell me what you think.

all in all i think, however strange it may be, it seems to be a pretty decent deck. sometimes a can get birds turn one then cultivate turn two and acidic slime turn three. if i went first, that destroys their second land. of course it would be even better with lotus cobra, but again i don't wanna spend 75 bucks on 4 copies of one card.

Deck discussion for Standard Land Destruction

If you're worried about price, why do you have lands that cost close to 6 bucks a piece?
