Your only draw-card cards are Enshrined MEmories and Glimpse of Nature and the latter isn't yielding any cards since you have to play before you draw. And a lot of your cards are stronger if you have more cards then your opponent.

What you could do is add Garruk's Packleader a few times and some Harmonize cards. You could also look for artifacts that let you draw cards.

Probably not since he added Rest for the Weary... Agree, it nets 8 life, but then Join the Ranks can get you 10 times that if you've abused your shapeshifters long enough. Which brings me to another card, called "clone". Dunno if it's legal but i though i saw it in m11...

since your deck isn't limited I'd suggest splash white for some Light of Sanction. Your creatures won't die that way.

Infinite scry is achieved through Viscera Seer, 2x corpse cur and 2x semblance anvil [creature/artifact]. It gets even better when you combine that with something like Molder Beast since it'll give you not only infinite scry but also infinite power with trample.

Your go is better tho. I suppose you scry into Bridge from Below and then get a lot of tokens?

You need to shuffle cards in your hand into your library. What if you pick up Iona in your starting hand? Yes. Your deck dies. So you'll be needing something called See Beyond.

Seeing your format I'd fit in Otherworldly Journey, and I'd defenitely switch the Sky-eel school for 2 more Stags.
Also, you might wanna look at the Titans from M11 which also have an effect upon entering the battlefield.

I mostly agree with unknownhunter, especially on the bit that says "gatekeeperz0rz!!!" but I don't think you need the big bad bosses if you're trying to run budget.

It might be useful to have some card that says "your creatures become bigger" so one or two captivating vampires aren't that bad of an idea, but it might become expensive.

MCR ftw :D
also, why bad moon? It'll disable just about all your removal spells.

I too am startled. There's a lot of proliferate, but only one way to reliably give your opponent a poison counter: putting in a Hand and playing an infect creature. That can take a while, though... You just should put in the rats...

I'd recommend on switching Time for heroes with Kabira Vindicator. The latter gives +2/+2 to everything, while it can also attack/block... TfH does that to 8/20 creatures and for the rest is a useless enchantment.

You know, if I were you, I'd switch the Plague Stingers for the Vampire's Bites. +3/+0 is often better on an unblockable Ichor Rats than a 1/1 flyer that can be blocked to death easily. Sideboarding the Stingers means you have a nice backup card against non-flying decks.
You could also put Trigon of Rage in if you like that more (it's more expensive but you can use it more often). Also, against a deck that has some good flying creatures (say 2/3 or something) Thrumming Bird also becomes less useful than Steady Progress. I'd put 2 of each in both the deck and the sideboard. Flying creatures may be blocked, but a sorcery that says "proliferate" will do that no matter how many flyers your opponent has.

I keep asking myself the same question. When playtesting, I keep drawing hands with 0 land, shuffle, draw 5 land, shuffle, draw 1 land... keeps going. Playing 2 land hands isn't too big of a deal... though you do have to hope for a land draw before t3 :P

I'm planning on trading some of the other cards I got for an Inexorable Tide, another Hand of the Praetors and some more Distortion Strikes.

I'd use Rite of Replication instead of clone. It is the same cmc, but you can't kick a clone to get 4 more copies.

kick 1 bird and 1 tide for the two dragons, I'd say.

Well, I figured they get you an unblockable creature for 1 turn and after that you just give them the Tainted Strike. The latter is mainly used for the invisimancers and the gatekeepers in case you get a point blank shot.
Also, Proliferate is more reliable than a creature that can be blocked, bolted or arrested, and it grows the amount of charge counters on my Trigons.

Exactly how does the combo work? I don't see Galvanic Key do anything...

As for the sideboard, Vampire's Bite is pretty efficient, just as Virulent Swipe. I use them in my own infect deck to boost my creatures without having to splash green. Also Trigon of Rage is useful as well, giving 3x +3/+0 for 2 mana (and even more often since you're proliferating).

Steady Progress is a logical choice, you may think the card has too high a cmc but don't forget you're getting an extra card. That really helps, and makes the spell much more efficient.

So those for the Sideboard.

The smaller brother of Contagion Engine (contagion clasp) is cheaper and therefore faster to use... However, I'm not sure you'll have counters out by the time you could use it, and it's just not as efficient as the engine. I guess I'll just say GL in the tourny!

Your combo doesn't work. If you fetch for swamp on T2 you have 2 green and 1 black mana on T3, means you cant play groundswell and a kicked vines.
