The idea is to draw as many cards as possible by killing off myr creature tokens with the Skull Clamps and using the Consecrated Sphinx's ability. This gives you more options in hand but also powers up the Empyrial Plate and Psychosis Crawler. Also the artifact creature tokens hitting the graveyard will trigger a loss of life to your opponent due to the Disciple of the Vault, and the drawing will cause the oppenent to lose life due to the Psychosis Crawler.
