Deck discussion for Infect the Shadows

The reason a lot of people have opted out of the idea to go "Dauthi Infect" is due to the fact that the concept relies on giving the Dauthi infect. Infect works best the faster you can make it happen. True, having shadow infectors is great, you become dependent on drawing an additional card to make it happen. And considering you only have 6 cards in the deck to accomplish this, you're going to be swinging for damage well before you start swinging for infect, thus, becoming your own double edge sword.

With that said, you have the nuts and bolts to make this an incredibly fast shadow deck. You might find it to be more reliable and consistent maintaining the shadow theme instead of handcuffing yourself with trying to alter their damage/poison capabilities.

I welcome any comments or criticism you can offer for any of the decks I have posted on the site (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks in advance!

I like it, i've tried to make a similar deck before, but instead of giving shadow creatures infect, i gave infect creatures shadow (with dauthi embrace). I like this better than mine though because it plays really fast. the quick drop shadow creatures pair really well with the phyresis and with dark ritual. i would add mabey a cabal ritual to increase the speed.

thanks guys, the main problem i've been having with this deck is that i use up my hand quick, then i'm just
playing whatever i draw, so i've added sign in blood, i can take the life for the extra cards that could find the cards i need quick, and along with the tutors i get what i need fairly quick. i'd really like phyrexian areas or inkmoth nexus, but i really only have the cards i've had since odessy or wat i can buy off my friends.

Id drop the cards that destroy enemy creatures (go for the throat etc... it's not like, in most cases, they can block you anyway right) and focus more on cards that can get the combo underway.. get cards that guarantee you can dish out those 10 poison counters before the opponent deals 20 damage.

maybe more demonic tutor, a 4th exoskeleton, and some other way of drawing more cards
