Deck Description

I like burn; I think it's one of the funnest decks to use. Plus red is my favorite color to play with, and what better way is there to run a red deck than "BURN DIE KILL IT WITH FIRE AAUUUUGH!?"

The deck has now kind of gotten away from all the "burn." It's more just aggro now. But it's still neat, and a bit more consistent than before.

How to Play

The best thing to do turn one is to drop Vexing Devil if you have it. Your opponent will almost always opt to take the 4 damage and have you sacrifice it, which is just as well. You always want to keep your opponent's life total lower than yours, so you can safely play Sulfuric Vortex as soon as you draw it. In the next few turns, it's good to play a Kiln Fiend, Guttersnipe or Chandra's Spitfire as early as possible before you start with your flurry of burn spells. Then--depending on the situation--you can either whittle away at your opponent's life total to eventually lead them to their demise by Sulfuric Vortex, or use your spells to remove blockers and swing with your buffed creatures.

Obviously, I took the Kiln Fiends out. They've been replaced with Hellspark Elemental, simply because the Unearth is nice with Hellrider. I'm still debating whether or not to put the Kiln Fiends back in. Meh.

Deck discussion for RDW Aggro

Chandra's Spitfire's would go great with Hellrider.
