Deck Description

Green/Red Human-Werewolf transform deck.

Constructed from the Shadows over Innistrad block.

How to Play

The general idea is to gain early board pressence with cards like 'Kessig Prowler' (+'Waxing Moon' for a possible turn two 4/4) together with 'Ulvenwald Captive' and/or 'Duskwatch Recruiter' for early mana- and creature ramp.

'Smoldering Werewolf', 'Tangleclaw Werewolf', 'Vildin-Pack Outcast' and 'Ulrich of the Krallenhorde' are your BIG BAD WEREWOLFS!
Try to save cards like 'Spirit of the Hunt', 'Waxing Moon' and 'Geier Reach' to save those cards. NOTE: Waxing Moon can be used on your opponents turn to transform a creature. Can be useful if they try to damage it with an instant and/or sorcery spell, or if you want to bait them into attacking, and then block with the transformed version.

Also notice that 'Smoldering Werewolf's effect to deal 1 damage to up to 2 creates when summoned is very situational, since your opponent most likely won't have 2 creatures with 1 toughness on the board, so don't bother saving it in the hand for this effect. It comes in handy sometimes, but it's true power is from it's transformed version's effect to deal 2 damage whenever it declares an attack.

Remember the Flash effect on 'Howlpack Resurgence'. If you have it in hand and you see your opponent with little-to-none untapped lands, or cards in their hand, you can declare an all out attack. Once they think they are save by blocking you instant-flash the 'Howlpack Resurgence' for a little extra boost to your big bad wolfs plus a neat trample effect.
