Deck Description

This is a deck I am currently using Mono-White Control Life gain deck using multi win conditions.

Either life gain through lifelink, plains walker and other means to make Ajani's Pridemate's overwhelming with Armored Ascension. Luminarch Ascension provides cheap overwhelming numbers to rush the enemy, overwhelm, and Day of Judgment wipes if needed. Emeria, the sky ruin allow creatures in the graveyard to constantly be placed back on the field.

Ajani's Avatar can be a major player on the field as my health increases, and Elspeth providing another way to wipe the field outside of Day of Judgement.

Finally, Angelic Arbiters, Linvala, and Iona shuts down major parts of the opponents turn and creates more control over the field.

Deck discussion for War of the Heavens

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Safe Passage does not protect your creatures from Day of Judgement.

I went back and looked and you are correct, seems I am going to need to sub Safe Passage out. I will gladly take suggestions.

Don't know if this is a route you wanna go, but splashing a little green and adding loxodon hierarch could help get you the results you're looking for.

Brave the Elements would work pretty well there. It still won't protect from DoJ, but using it for an alpha strike when you have pro whatever color your opponent is is nice.

I like the idea of using Brave the Elements, and I might add two Deathless Angel.

For DoJ and other Wrath effects, you might want to have some White counterspells sideboarded. Also, for that situation, maybe consider an Eldrazi Monument? I'm not sure if you'll be able to keep the creature cost up without Luminarch active, though.

I might be able to if I took out the Deathless Angels for Eldrazi Monuments.

I know I did not place it in the description but this is a deck I try and keep at T2 and I play with this deck all the time in less formal settings with my friends. I am going to try out these changes everyone ends up suggesting to see how it plays out.

As far as counterspells go I would love some suggestions?

You should probably take out 1 of Solemn Offering and 1 of Safe Passage to put in 1 of each of your singleton angels.

Instead of doj use martial coupe. It's slot better. How about wall of hope or omens. And maybe take away 2crossroads for regular lands lands. I know they give you life but that's potentially 2 turns slower. And I less sky ruin? Just some thoughts.
