Hmmm maybe I'll play test it then just to see how much I like it. I do have Tidespout Tyrant as well so I can throw him in there also. But yeah, I'll definitely include the cards on my play testing app and see how much I like them. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah, that was exactly my train of thought; since it's casual you might as well!

Yeah, Faeries are nasty little buggers, ha. Can't blame you for wanting to build a deck to counteract them. If I could make one suggestion, I think you need to roll with Ponder rather than Whispers of the Muse. That card is the weakest link in the deck if you ask me. Otherwise, cool looking deck!

Ha, what a janky deck. I like it! I haven't had the chance to play with Unhinged cards yet but I hear playing some games with those cards with your buddies can be a lot of fun. By the way, looked up anymore "until end of turn" and "this turn" white and/or red instants and there really aren't any other really good ones. Looks like the best of the best is already here! Have fun with it, man.

This looks like a really badass American control deck, my friend. Has a little bit of everything peppered into it. And Restoration Angel there to save the day and/or trigger that enter the battlefield for any of your other three creatures. Hell yeah. The only thing I might do differently is the land count. I'd probably try to find a way to bring it down two. But I can see it's for the Celestial Colonnades and Tectonic Edges, so I get it. Awesome stuff, man!

Though it certainly would benefit me more than anyone with this type of deck, I just hate helping out my opponents in any way, haha. Even though EDH is supposed to be multi-player and about pulling off jank-ass shit rather than competitive, I can't help feeling like a jackass when I drop down something like that and it immediately comes back to haunt me once I pass the turn, haha. I did strongly consider it, don't get me wrong, because it is awesome but I just couldn't get over the idea of helping them too, ha.

Right?! Best tutor in the deck, hands down. Only more apropos that it's a vamp, ha. Love using it, or any tutor, to set up that nasty Urborg/Coffers super mana ramp combo, or just getting Braid of Fire for ramp instead.

Dude, I totally gave you props on that sweet Endless Mutation deck of yours! Ha. Yeah, this is a good community and has been real helpful in advancing my deck building skills.

Yeah, man, this deck was real popular back then, except not quite as effective. Although I did a variation of that deck while splashing red for Hellrider and it cleaned house real nice; that was so much fun, haha, and one of the best tournament decks I ever assembled. I decided to scrap the red and make it more fluid once I stopped playing Standard, though, and it's awesome how much more effective this deck is. If you don't win by turn 4 or 5, you did something wrong, ha.

Yeah, it's too resilient for control unless you counter the fuck out of it and even then, Lingering Fucking Souls, baby, haha. I'll check out that deck, though; I'm sure it's pretty awesome! Thanks for checking this one out and giving the name props :D

Just read it again and noticed the Spirit token is colorless, meaning it does nothing for Honor of the Pure. Definitely no me gusta now! Haha.

It could be good if you had two in hand or if you had another playset of a similar Arcane spell to really abuse it but I think that's one of those cards that doesn't make the cut otherwise because a) the spirit-token generating cards already in the deck are far more powerful and b) while Raise the Alarm is one CMC more, it's also more reliable since you're always guaranteed two dudes from it. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

My best 60-card deck and it has no comments or likes AND it happens to be Modern legal?! What up with that?! Anybody who sees this feel free to leave comments and suggestions and I'll pay it forward!

Took your advice and threw 2 Bonesplitter in and I really like the added variety. Thanks for the help, man!

Yeah, it would be a good race, no doubt about it! Those fast decks like elves or goblins or burn usually don't have much land since they can run off so little but you could definitely win against those types of decks if you got them before they have the chance to get it going. Those types of match-ups are my favorite, the polar-opposite matches that pin one type of strategy against its counter strategy.

I'd like to see that elves deck of mine you commented on against this :P Looks like a very fun and annoying deck indeed! Nicely done, man.

Alright, what do you fine young gents think of this incarnation of the deck? It looks fast as fuck in play testing; faster than any version I've put together so far. Here are the changes I made:

Scrapped Heritage Druid for Fyndhorn Elves. Vastly increases my chances of a three-drop on turn two.

Put in Green Sun's Zenith for tutor; took out the likes of Overrun and Gilt-Leaf Ambush since they weren't as strong.

Took out a couple Essence Wardens and put back in a couple Priest of Titanias for more insane ramp and spill-my-deck-onto-the-battlefield possibility.

Threw one Wirewood Lodge in for a Forest since it'd be fun to use.

Finally, replaced a couple extras and Beast Within with Lead the Stampede, which has so far proved awesome in this deck. I don't know that I like the fact that this deck has no cards to deal with any potential problems now that Beast Within is gone but it just might be fast enough and resilient enough to not have to worry about threats.

Please let me know any thoughts you fellas have on these changes and how the deck looks now! I appreciate so much help building the best elf deck I possibly can :)

I'm thinking Lead the Stampede actually. Looks like a monster in this deck. I look at it with a fresh set of eyes tomorrow, though, and see how I want to tweak it.

Seeker's two CMC to Heritage's one is the lynch pin there. Basically all of my casual decks are speedy, if most of them reach turn 10 without winning they're likely screwed, haha. Yeah, Warcaller is a beast.

I think Squall Line would be the best anti-flying card for the deck but I'm throwing caution to the wind by not including it because I don't want a card that could potentially make me tie with my opponent, even if I am losing. I want to win, damn it! :P Haha. Maybe I'll discover its a better suit than Beast Within but for now I want to see how well Beast works for me.

Gilt-Leaf Archdruid's a cool card to pull off, ha. Can't blame them for banning it if you know how to abuse it well!

I think Profane Command could be a monster in a deck trying to produce a whole butt-ton of mana. I love its flexibility; I've won numerous games thanks to it. I like your abuse of black mana here, though. Seems like it'd be a cool deck to win with!

I'm not a fan of Oracle of Mul Daya, especially in this deck with only 18 land. Collective Unconscious would be funny but I'd probably be wishing it was a different card early game 99% of the time. Elves don't really need draw, just a minimum amount of land and they feed themselves.

As far as control goes, that's why I'm thinking of shoving a couple Beast Withins into the deck, but I couldn't figure out what to take out! I was thinking a Gilt-Leaf and something else. I had some counter-flying in the deck with Squall Line at first but it seemed more worthy of sideboard than mainboard, and I don't do sideboards with my casual decks. That's why I was thinking Beast Within since it's a more universal removal spell.

Since you inspired me to give a second look at Elvish Archdruid, I decided to compare the Archdruid's effectiveness versus the Elvish Harbinger and I agree it's more effective. I think I'll replace the Priest of Titanias with another Ezuri to up the chances of top-decking him since I won't have any more tutor with the Harbinger gone. Then I'll take a Gilt-Leaf out and throw two Beast Withins into the deck! Let's see how that plays.

In defense of Heritage Druid and Warcaller, they are deceptive as fuck. Once you get that third elf down, Heritage Druid allows you to tap them down for mana at instant speed, which is a thing of beauty. And Warcaller can be just as effective a beefer as Ezuri can, especially in tandem with a card that creates so much mana like the Archdruid. Now I like him even more honestly.

You've inspired good changes to the deck, my friend. Thank you for the feedback!
