Deck Description

I've been wanting to build a Dragon deck for a long time. And with some research this is what I have come up with so far. I'm wanting you all to give me some pointers on things to add that would make the deck flow and kick some ass. Thanks guys.

Deck discussion for Enter the Dragon

I'd consider adding more mana acceleration. At least a full set of 4 Seething Songs and maybe some Rite of Flame's. Might also want to consider some artifacts that can produce red mana, there are plenty to choose from.

I thought about adding in some burn cards that contain "X" in the converted mana cost to deal some direct damage. Like Blaze or Fireball.

Some burn spells would definitely help. Look at the decklist I think the biggest problem you'll run into is keeping yourself alive along enough to get the dragons on the board. Burn would help a lot, as would some smaller creatures.

Using my black deck as a base for the mana ratio I made some revisions to it. What do you all think?

Dragons and Direct damage would work well together, I would recomment taking out the dragonstorm and dragon roost, Problem with those two cards is that they cost so damn much, if you get them early in the game you are more likely to discard them than to play them, Throw in some book burnings, they are amusing to tick people off.

I finally got to test play the deck. It didn't flow as well as I thought. I took out 2 of the Dragon Whelps and Furnace Whelps plus Fiery Fall and Blaze. It seemed to flow much better. I'm going to try to get a Dragonmaster Outcast and I like the Book Burning idea.

The main thing Ican suggest in running 4x seething song, 4x rite of flame and/or 4x desperate ritual. that should solve your mana problems.

you might need a bit more low cost creatures, or if not that, a few more mana exelerators. a playset of dragonmaster outcast, Pyroclasm, volcanic fall out, and lightning bolt would help, and atleast one more mountain would too. i dont think Molten Hydra or Destructive Urge will help you much. Dragon tyrant is Ridiculously good, but i dont think you'll be able to play it often. and if u do, its upkeep cost will make it harder to play your other dragons. so i'd suggest taking him out. Predator dragon also is not nearly as good as it usualy is here, because you have no fast, small creatures for it to feed on. so i'd suggest taking him out aswell. dragon blood is good, but i dont think you will be using it's ability to much, given that you will be using all your mana to cast your dragons. so i would take that out. also, you will almost never be able to morph imperial hellkite, so why have it? also, furnace whelp is better than dragon whelp, so make 4x furnace welp and take out dragon whelp. flame wave seems kind of off topic, given that it is a high cost burn spell in a deck that should be using low cost burns to stall so we can play dragons. so i'd suggest taking it out, or replacing it with Pyroclasm or volcanic fall out. Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang is very good, but since your dragons are already so big, you would only need it if you could equip as an instant so you could make it deal damage to players. so that limits it to it's dragon ability, which is for 6. so it is essentialy a 5/5 flying for 12 mana. i dont think you will need that. that's all i can think of off the top of my head, i hope i helped.
