Deck Description

This deck is based off of modern Tron, a deck that I play extensively, hope you enjoy!

Rules ( as seen in Jessie's Aristocrat Format Challenge):
1) Decks must contain 60 cards.
2) Decks can have up to 2 rares. Of the two rares, each one must be unique. In other words, a deck can't have two copies of the same rare.
3) Mythic rares are not allowed. Ever! Yes, that means no planeswalkers.
***EDIT: Has been pointed out to me, by s0rinmark0v, that there were 5 Planeswalkers that started out Rares, and were converted over to Mythical Rares:
Aristocrat Planeswalkers (Only allowed Planeswalkers in Aristocrat Format)
- Ajani Goldmane
- Jace Beleren
- Liliana Vess
- Chandra Nalaar
- Garruk Wildspeaker
4) Decks can also have up to 12 uncommons. Like the rares, the number of copies you can include of any particular uncommon is restricted. In this case, no more than three copies of any one uncommon are allowed.
5) The rest of your deck is composed of commons, with the restriction that only 4 copies of up to three particular commons are allowed, with the rest of the deck's commons being limited to no more than 3 per unique common.
6) Basic lands are used as normal, with no particular limit on copies.
7) Sideboards are allowed and encouraged, and may include up to 1 rare and 3 uncommons, duplicating perfectly the rarity distribution of a typical booster pack. Additionally, none of the cards in the sideboard can be copies of the cards in the main deck.
8) Sideboards are allowed to have 4 copies of up to two particular commons in the sideboard.

How to Play

So, the whole idea of Tron is to asseble Urza's Mine, Powerplant, and Tower. With those three lands in play it allows you to produce 7 mana. Using the sphere's and star's, you are able to generate colored mana to use to fetch the lands. Once Tron is assembled, you can play more tron lands are cast huge creatures, such as Steel Hellkite turn 3! This is a very successful modern deck and was easily converted over to this new format.

I see what you did there, try putting in Peer Through Depths and Lotus Bloom to make it more consistent. Halimar Depths is a good filter land, try it out!

Whoops, thought Magical Hacker was a sorcery, try Dimir Infiltrator as another transmuter, or Shred Memory!!

MAN! This deck is awesome.

Now I know what Tron is. It's really impressive that you got it in this format. This gets an automatic like from me!

Ulamog's crusher is common ... oh, and Spawnsire of Ulamog is insulted that you didn't include it. :D

I thought about it, but given that the creature base in this deck is not huge, it may be a dead card in some games. Especially now that eye of Ugin cannot be in here, any kind of enchantments were hard to fit in. But yes, I did consider it.

I'm just sayin ... spawnsire could call in 4 copies of ulamog's crusher and 3 copies of pathrazer of ulamog.

Oh ... and you totally need some cloudposts and glimmerposts in here. Because ... SCIENCE!

Oh god... 12 post is legal in aristrocrat............. they are going to have to ban cards for this format if they want to keep it under control...
12 post is tron on steroids... it shits on tron, 3 cloudposts out and you have 9 mana... plus one vesura... and glimmerpost...

Lol, but it's true ... cloudpost and the other posts are indeed common. So is sol ring.

JESSIE! We have some cards for you to suggest to the creator of this format be banned for our continued sanity.

So, banlist:
-Sol Ring
-Cloudpost (or restrict to 3 or 2 per deck)
-Artifact lands
-Tinker

Otherwise this is going to end up as a budget version of legacy.

Please remind me, and I will send him the link to this deck, so that he can read the comments.

IF you want, the link is on my Aristocrat deck page.
You can chat with him yourself, but give me a day or two and I will suggest the changes.

I'll wait for you ... the issues in question are:
All non-basic lands are considered uncommon, except for maybe guildgates.
Sol ring is ridiculous in any format. Literally, any format. It doesn't even come in tapped!

You accidentally added an extra Hellkite. Also could you go back and add things from the edition where they were printed as common? Because there are too many uncommons here and I know that Fireball at least was printed at common once. The only other thing that comes to mind when I see the deck are that I don't exactly understand the logic behind Lancer or Gargoyle. They're good, but I'm pretty sure there have been better cards printed that you could use to slow down the midgame, and the deck feels consistent enough that you shouldn't need them.

Good fixing, fetching, and Eldrazi though. It's interesting to see the Tron lands at work in yet another format.
