Dross Harvester
Ashenmoor Gouger could fit the 3 slot nicely and they don't die to bolt.

Dross obviously is much better vs white lol

Not a problem, I think its only a few cards off of being a modern viable deck so even collecting this shell could maybe land you a mono-b modern deck a few sets down the road for a budget.
It's obviously great for casual lol.

I know decks have tried to use them, and I would LOVE for them to be good, just any deck that has tried hasn't put up any good numbers(or at least consistently put up good numbers)
I always look back to it every time a set comes out hoping it got more support.

Yeah just with combos its better to either focus on more ways to find/protect your combo than just loading your deck with another combo.
Half the time you will just draw 1 half of one combo and the other half of your other combo.

I never understood why they have such a price tag, I love them because how cool they are, but they don't see play in ANY competitive decks...
thought they were cheaper than that lol

Yeah, They both die to all the same removal and you're not really using follower to untap something that isn't a land so doesn't seem like a bad idea lol

Amulet of vigor?

when used with Perilous Forays you can basically filter all the basics out of your deck.
(with omnath in play that is a TON of bolts.)

Magus should honestly just be the 4th snapcaster.
It's too fragile, and dies to the decks its good against because of pyro, that new devoid wipe and bolt...

The reason you see magus in the kiki chord lists or CoCo lists is because it actually fits their style of deck, here it's just awkward.

Muddle the mixture allows you to tutor for guildmage or mindcrank.
I feel the non-combo half of your deck is just terrible and you should probably focus on the duskmage combo.

I feel it would be good to split your untappers with different creatures so you don't just lose to a single surgical extraction post board.

Specter just isn't that good in modern...
Better off running gatekeeper of malakir or phyrexian obliterater.

You may also want (x) urborgs, ghost quarters and maybe a couple of nykthos(1-2)

I prefer combo in commander, but control is my go to in modern/standard.
Honestly now that twin and bloom got banned I feel these decks only got stronger lol.

This, honestly if anything ever lost to this deck something would be seriously wrong...

Not to mention they're all 1 drops so there isn't a reason why you can't drop to 16-17 lands

That's where I was getting it from, but it works great in mono green decks(normally a mainstay in azusa EDH decks)
I am in the process of making a rage omnath list.
Have most of the cards also lol.

Amulet of vigor? between it and glimpse of nature you can basically cast your hold deck while your commander is in play.

You should get krosan grip should replace naturalize(just better overall)

The below is a great package to have, basically just allows you to spam land destruction multiple times in a turn.

expedition map
Crucible of worlds
wasteland
strip mine
ghost quarters
tectonic edge
sylvan scrying(you have this, just using it as an example with the cards above)
Oracle of Mul Daya(same as above)
Exploration(same as above)
azusa lost but seeking
life from the loam(this also works with cards like terramorphic expanse and evolving wilds to help thin your deck.)

other good cards are genesis wave and genesis hydra.

rancor and dungrove elder should both be in the deck.
Also defense of the heart is pretty broken.

I threw one of these together as well, just mine is based on ramp/land destruction.
Still has ways to produce mass amounts of tokens though.

I would advise using amulet of vigor and perilous forays.
Lets you just constantly lightning bolt people until you run out of basics.

steps:
1- have omnath, amulet and forays on the BF
2- put a land into play to get the 5/5 token
3- sac token to forays to get a land(activates omnaths bolt effect)
4- put land into play tapped
5- amulet now triggers and untaps the land
6- now you can just keep sacing elementals until you run out of basic lands.

combo only gets better if you have cards like purphoros and warstorm surge in play.
