Deck discussion for Punishing Nic Fit

I feel like you're missing out on alot of the more powerful interactions with your creature choices.

Courser of Kruphix is extremely good when paired with Sensei's Divining Top.

The Grave Titan and Liliana, Heritical Healer just feel out of place in this style of Nic Fit, without cards like Birthing Pod to find them and Green Sun's Zenith only getting Green creatures, it just feels like they could be better options. (Courser of Kruphix, Thragtusk, another Deathrite Shaman, Etc)

I don't think you need Kolaghan's Command if you have Recurring Nightmare, could just be a third Liliana of the Veil.

Sideboard looks good, but I think you could afford to play some form of Land Disruption, it'll be useful against Miracles and Lands which have been tough match ups. And with Eldrazi becoming more prominent in the format, it'll be a nice addition for the match up.

Thanks for the comment! Went with -1 grave titan, -1 liliana, heretical healer, -1 kolaghan's command, and +1 courser, +1 slime (as a form of land disruption), +1 thragtusk

Awesome deck, I love Nic Fit myself, so hopefully my tips can give you some help. First of all, I think you should run more tops. It smooths out the deck more and interacts great with Courser. Also, you don't have Grove of the Burnwillows to go with Punishing Fire. You'll want 3 - 4. Volrath's Stronghold is very unnecessary, so that's a start on lands to cut. In the sideboard, Leyline the Void isn't good as a two of. Either run the full four, or run different graveyard hate. You may also wanna cut Melira from the board, as Infect is an uncommon matchup. Although it does depend on the meta. Hope this helps!

Thanks, still figuring out how to build the deck before I buy into it, any comment helps really... went 3/3 on top/explorer, changed the sideboard for 4 leylines and added 3 groves.

nice, man. nic fit is a great deck for legacy. but, veteran explorer is the most important card in the deck. i've seen versions that have ran 3 well before, but if you want to be as optimal as possible you're gonna want the full four.

I think it's wrong to go less then 4 Explorers, it's the best way for you to ramp, in nearly every game you want it in your hand.

Nic Fit is an awesome archetype and Punishing Fire is annoying as hell (for the opponent ofcourse). Love this deck a lot.
