Deck Description

Legen . . . (wait for it) . . . dary.

Ah, Commander. Where Legends come to life. Why? Because you can only run singletons anyway, so why not run legendary creatures? And why don't you put all those legendary creatures together and make a Dream Team?

How to Play

Powerful creatures like Kodama of the North Tree, Thrun, the Last Troll, and Polukranos, World Eater all join under the Banner in an epic Day of Destiny. With Captain Sisay gathering the heroes, and Odric, Master Tactician leading them into battle, the power of history propels them to victory.

Some cards of interest:
Captain Sisay - please note, unlike other spells like Time of Need that reference only Legendary Creatures, the captain can get any Legend: from Akroma's Memorial to Untaidake.

Honor-worn Shaku - like Sisay, it references "any legendary permanent," so Untaidake and Tenza are fair game.

Phyrexian Altar - along with Isamaru, Reki, and Yomiji, you can draw your deck! With Kiyomaro in play, you suddenly have a very potent threat - something like a 72/72 vigilance.

Into the North - What we're looking for here is Arctic Flats, but it grabs all basic lands, too.

Chord of Calling - Lots of Legends have tricky effects, like Masako, Dosan, and Crovax. Chord of Calling is a great way to surprise opponents.

Mistveil Plains - combos with Sisay so your guys never really go away.

Ugh, that would be bad. But the only real answer is Mirror Gallery, and that would do nothing so much of the time. I think I'll just willingly lose to copy decks.

I dont care about Mirror Gallery it's just about winning the game with your own creatures, you put that and i put the same copy !

The commander rule change anyway, if i put the same copy of a legendary creature you control, i keep the copy since the legendary rule is : If a player control two legendary permanent or planewalker with the same name ``Under it's owner control`` put one of them into your graveyard. ( this is not a destroy effect and creature cannot be regenerated )

Bot of us can have the same legendary permanent !

Oh, I thought you were gonna do some Infinite Reflection shenanigans. I know all about the legend rule; I thought you were gonna turn my guys into each other and kill my board.

personally i would try to cut down to 30 creatures.... and scince your running into the north why not run dark depths also and its legendary and so is cavern of souls. the keldra set would be cool also. but other wise its looking alright...

Cavern of Souls isn't legendary, and even if it were, I don't know what creature type I'd name (Legend isn't a creature type any more) . . . and Dark Depths doesn't really win without Vampire Hexmage or Thespian's Stage. I just included Into the North because it's strictly better than Rampant Growth because it can grab Arctic Flats.

Wheel of Sun and Moon gives you another creature recycler.

You're running too many creatures, and not enough answers, imo. Arena of the Ancients is a thing as are Stasis/Orb lock decks, staxx/saccs decks, etc. You need ways to deal with problems, even if it's just Return to Dust, Deglamer and Unravel the Aether for artifacts and enchantments and Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares for creatures and Oblation for all of the above.

If anything you could run LESS creatures than normal since you can grab one per turn.
