Deck Description

This deck seeks to control the game for the first few turns, then mana accel with a few artifacts to play Niv-Mizzet on turn 5, then use Ophidian Eye, Curiosity, Tandem Lookout or Mind Over Matter to win the game. Three Transmute cards can tutor your combo, and various looting and draw spells can usually dig one of your seven cards. You can also win with any creature + Quicksilver Dagger + Mind Over Matter. There are tons of good targets in this deck for Isochron Scepter, including Fire/Ice, Twincast, Counterspell, and Downpour. This deck also plays well into Possibility Storm. Djinn Illuminatus combos with Burning Inquiry or Brainstorm with Niv-Mizzet or Psychosis Crawler sitting sidelines to draw an obscene number of cards. There is actually a possibility of decking yourself, so Reminisce and Elixir of Immortality are in here, too.

By the way, shout-out to Riptide Laboratory. Save Niv-Mizzet? Yes, please. Reuse Augur of Bolas and Snapcaster Mage? That's good, too.

How to Play

Control the game. Use artifacts and Dragonspeaker Shaman to ramp into Niv-Mizzet early. Win the game with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, Tandem Lookout, or Mind Over Matter, and use Dizzy Spell, Drift of Phantasms, and Ethereal Usher to tutor those cards. If you somehow don't win, deck yourself and play Laboratory Maniac, or use Reminisce or Elixir of Immortality to try again.

Deck discussion for Infiniv-Mizzet EDH

Switch Boomerang for a Into the Roil and put a Tandem Lookout for your commander.

Boomerang can bounce lands, and hooks up to Isochron Scepter to keep your opponent on three lands for a game. However, Tandem Lookout is ingenious; I'll put it in immediately.

Switch Past in Flame for a Call to Mind.

Past in Flame is a late-game finisher, giving all your graveyard flashback, like Brainstorm, Preordain, Mizzium Mortars . . . Call to Mind can have some relevance, but it doesn't open up your whole graveyard like Past in Flame does.

But call to mind and Reminisce gave you a infinite combo with Mind over Matter and Quicksilver Dagger, Dream Hall and,... That's give you the ability to always shuffuling your graveyard into your Library for a real infinite combo with Niv-Mizzet, Mind over Matter with Quicksilver Dagger and or Dream Hall. Put Laboratory Maniac for a instant kill in multiplayer game. Its just a point of view and sorry for my English. :)
