Deck Description

RW modern deck designed to murder real fast. Lots of different combos working together to give you good damage output. Can win by turn 4 with the right pulls. Not too expensive of a deck either! Lightning Mauler can be subbed for hammer of purphoros if you need more haste, but generally opponent should be dead with the right play before that happens.

How to Play

Drop champion of the parish! Most of your creatures are human and will buff him up real quick. Gather the townsfolk automatically gives 2 buffs and drops 2 humans for defense or use in other battalion skills. Boros charm is a great burn finisher, increases your output, and protects your stuff. Silverblade turn three into spark trooper double strike is a brutal combo. That is 12 possible damage, 12 life gain, and also trample from spark trooper alone. Kytheon is a great one drop 2/1 but if left unattended will give you a sweet 4/4 indestructible human as Gideon the planeswalker! Use Iroas and spark troopers to finish off your opponents in a quick burst of damage! If anything stands in your way, brave the elements, lightning helix, and titan's strength will give you that early turn damage buff, protection and removal. So many options, so little time! Swing Swing Swing!

Deck discussion for WR Modern Boros and Swing

Deck seems very solid! I only have one question. Without any type of removal do you have troubles with the opponent's creatures?

Using titan's strength to trade or win fights helps, but usually they are dead before any significant threat comes out. Brave the elements helps by just simply bypassing any creatures in the way too, thats won me plenty of games once the opponent dropped a big blocker or threat. I haven't had too many troubles even against other rush decks. If you really needed it, you can swap the dynacharges out for some removal in the form of burn or exile. Cards that would come to mind are path to exile or magma jet, again looking for low cost spells to keep the focus on dropping your creatures for more damage. Thats a good idea for a sideboard though, so thanks for bringing that up!
