Deck focuses heavily on cheap, in mana cost, black creatures, buffing them up with unholy and sinister strength and hatred. The dark confidants can speed the deck up drastically and with only 2 cards costing more than 2 mana, the life lost is usually negligible.
Throw out creatures as fast as you can, sacrificing things to kjeldoran dead and carrion feeders to allow the use a barrow ghouls. Hatred is the trump card, able to be played using only 1 mana and 2 dark rituals to give an unblocked creature ridiculous power for a possible 2nd turn kill. Shepherds of rot can be used if you have more life than your opponent to get that extra damage in.

I love monoblack! This is so simple but effective. Maybe try adding a Demonic Tutor. Innocent blood, ulcerate, disfigure, or contagion are all solid removal options, which you seem to be lacking.Cool deck!
