Trying to make a good Boros Deck, its on a budget and i have 1 gatecrash theme deck to start from. Ive been seeing alot of swarm tacticks, but should i be kicking bigger creatures altogether and just having cheap ones?

OK, so I'm presuming your going for a face paced aggro deck where your win con is overwhelming your opponents.I guess the first thing to sort is how many 1 drops you want and which ones. I personally would have 2 playsets (4 of them) of different 1 drops.The main 1 drops for standard Boros right now are: Champion of the Parish, Boros Elite, Doomed Traveller, Forge Devil, Legion Loyallist and Stormkirk Noble.Of course the other thing you should be thinking about is how much each of these cards are gonna cost you to get!Now I opted for Champion and Elite because I wanted a human themed deck. For Battalion themed them I'd go for Loyalist and Elite. But the choice is yours. Take out; Fortress Cyclops (perhaps) Ember Beast, Canyon Minotaur, Arrows of Justice (it's expensive) and Skyjek looks pretty bad too
ive got a pretty massive mana pool of 25, so should i keep it low cost because ive seen some sick big cards for boros
Take out 4 of the elite vanguard so your deck is legal
If this deck is meant to be standard legal then you can't have elite vanguard at all, sadly :(.

okay im stuck. All of these cards look good and i especially want to keep the instants and sorceries, but i dont think there are enough of them to make blaze commando worthwile? Also i feel like there are too many large creatures, but they could come in very handy at the right time...Im aiming to get this deck to 60 by the way
OK, so when I'm building an aggro deck I try to not have cards that cost more than 4 to play, at a stretch I might have a 5 drop. Others are different, some people have a big card just in case the game stretches but this is one of the times when you break the rule of 4 and you only have 1 or 2 high mana cards.Now personally if I was going to have a card more expensive than 4 from Boros right now I'd have an Aurelia the Warleader.
So Boros Battleshappers ability is basically a less good version of Odric's so I'm not sure I'd bother running him.
