Deck Description

This is my take on a casual deck idea from Dethlokslayer.

I've tried to keep the same theme of the deck while giving it a bit more competitive edge. Check his deck out and spread the love =)

How to Play

Basically the deck is built for creature control. You want your Agent out as soon as possible. And to avoid it being zapped before you could use it, I added the benevolent body guard which allows you to save him even if your mana is tied up. once you get a flickering ward on him you are pretty much good to go. I've also added the orzhov charm to add a little bounce effect in case the opponent is playing sweepers. It's useful because it triggers the agent and saves him and your auras. Then you have mourning which works both offensively to trigger the agent or defensively to slow down your opponents assault until you can get your agent up...the you can bounce morning and target the agent to get rid of the pesky creature you were trying to stop.
Akroan Skyguard is there to give you an alternative target for heroic abilities and can become quite the beat stick if you are flickering a ward on and off him the whole time. Grim guardian and mesa enchantress help you capitalize on all the enchantment dropping going on. And last but not least! Sigarda's Aid. A beautiful card that allows this deck to truly go into to beast mode. Even if we were stuck at the sorcery speed of auras, I think that this would still be a pretty solid deck, but with Sigarda's Aid all those auras are available at instant speed! Did your opponent just attack you with that man land? No instant in hand to cast? what a shame.... but now any aura will do! Cast/ target the agent and oopsy daisy! uh oh! no more man land! or buff the Sky Guard a couple times so you can be sure to get in a solid hit or defense if needed.

Now the side board. Perhaps an obvious weakness of this deck would be tokens. Well Declaration in Stone solves that. I've also included a couple of leylines to help against red burny decks. Agent of Erebos for a little rest in peace action plus a blocker and fabled hero for another heroic target and to make yourself a little more aggro-y.

Let me know what you think of the deck and its additions!
