Deck Description

I've always felt that Karametra was under appreciated. Also she was my first god I pulled out of a pack(=instant love.) Plus GW are my favorite Colors to play in. It just feels good. So I finally built this deck. This deck list is an exact copy of my deck as it exists. Im looking for ways to improve this deck. I need suggestions. I am currently proxy testing amulet of vigor and lotus cobra in lieu of Lifeblood hydra and grazing glade heart. Not really quite sure how I feel about it yet tho. I've been looking at other Karametra decks for ideas and idk. I haven't been terribly impressed with them but at the same time I wonder how my deck would hold up in comparison. So please if you see any glaring weaknesses, point them out to me. This deck has incredible synergy and can really be quite devastating. Idk about other people's opinions, but in my LPG, she has earned quite the respect.

How to Play

Ideally, you will get a turn 3 Karametra, but more often it will be turn 4, which isn't bad.
Hold on to your removal and play teeg when you know you can protect him. Time is on your side with Karametra. the longer the game goes, the more powerful she can be. I have literally pulled out all my lands before. Which, you gotta be careful about because I realized that if I don't have lands dropping, I lose a lot of power because this deck is mostly based around land fall abilities. Anyways, if you get Zendikar resurgent out and Vorinclex, well... it gets really fun.

Deck discussion for Karametra>Discussion

Ah, Cara Mia...
Lots of fun to be had with landfall in Karametra (where is she, btw? You should have her in the sideboard), but your curve and your card draw could use some love.

Also, I'm not a fan of Banisher Priest-style removal; if they blow up your creature / enchantment, they get their annoying card back, and you're down one. Best to just remove the problem completely.

1) The first, and most important suggestion I'm going to give you, get a Cloudstone Curio.
If landfall is your game, that is the card that will break it. Every time you drop a land, bounce a land. After that, you just maximize the # of lands you can play a turn, and any landfall engine becomes bonkers. (Selesnya Sanctuary on its own can offer repeat landfall triggers)

2) If you're supremely dedicated to that strategy, you can push it even further by getting a Crucible of Worlds, and combining it with cards like Myriad Landscape, Krosan Verge, Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse. You'll ramp faster than you can play spells.

3) And in WG, you also have access to Knight of the Reliquary, which lets you fetch all your powerhouse nonbasic lands at the cost of the basics Karametra is pulling for you. With Crucible, you can get those back too, and the end result is a perfect mana base with a powerhouse Knight ready to swing for dmg.

4) ...which leads to the elephant in the room: Draw.
You need more.

Right now you have some bad options in there. Seer's Sundial and Collective Unconsious are inefficient options compared to what you could be running.
- Soul's Majesty
- Harmonize
- Mind's Eye
- Sylvan Library
- Selvala, Explorer Returned
- Garruk's Packleader
- Garruk's Horde
- Elemental Bond
- Evolutionary Leap
- Greater Good
- Momentous Fall
- Life's Legacy
- Ajani, Mentor of Heroes
- Garruk, Primal Hunter
