You've probably seen similar decks. Athreos is a nice easy commander to get out. Plus he is hard to get rid of... The deck is plumb full of politics and isnt that what EDH is all about? Hope you enjoy.
Ideally you will get Athreos out turn 3 every time. And that is an awful early time to have that kind of enchantment out. Hopefully you will get his devotion up turn four and you can start swing away. Shoot start swinging with anything as soon as you want. If they die, usually they are cheap enough to come right back out. If they are too good for your opponent to want to keep around, punish them with a makeshift bolt. of course there are always ways to get your creatures back later. As always, im open to critiquing and suggestions on how to improve this deck. Especially if you can find ways to make it a little more budget friendly, yet still keep the spirit of the deck.
