This is a multiplayer, casual deck to introduce newer players to the fun of Pestilence. It's mostly the result of pulling a Takklemaggot from a pack of Chronicles and having a moment of nostalgia.Given the target audience, it avoids wincon combos and supports diplomatic play.Swap in the sideboard in place of the demons, takklemaggot, and gates if you want a less polite deck. The Lashwrithes can either make your rat bombs reusable or pump up the myrs to get around pro-black. The Necrobites give your rat bombs deathtouch (without burning the rats).
1. Build your pillow fort.2. Use rats/pestilence as a doomsday device to discourage aggro toward you.3. Use Death Watch and Sun Droplet strategically to stay ahead of the curve on health. Remember that the droplet benefits from lots of upkeeps, so puppy-kicking is discouraged.4. When the knives come out, burn-burn-burn. Use Vampiric Link on your rat bombs to jump ahead on health.
