The combo deck everyone wanted when the Locust God was released. Locust God+Skullclamp+Ashnod's Altar=infinite colorless mana and decking yourself. With your infinite mana, you can do things like cast Jin-Gitaxias for 2 and Niv for 4. With the amount of card draw in this deck, lab maniac is there just to be safe, but you can also mill your opponents with Jace's Erasure, or just burn them with Psychosis Crawler and Niv. Runeboggle is either a great counter or another draw spell to get the combo going. And, of course, this is an Izzet combo deck, so where would we be without some primo fixing? Scrying is key to making the combo go off, which is where the temples, jets, preordains, and Mystic Speculations come into play.
