Deck Description

Lead an army of dragons with Zirilan as he's able to pull select dragons at will to deal with any situation! Keep your opponents on their toes as your dragons phase in and out of existence, only to reappear at a moment's notice! A wild dragon deck that uses a bit more strategy and trickery than your usual dragon deck would.

How to Play

This is a really fun mono-red dragon deck, as it's not just about smashing your opponent with dragons. (Well it is... But you get to do it in style!)

Your commander, Zirilan, can pull any dragon at will from your deck to use for the turn. This is a ton of fun, and unless you play this deck a lot against the same person, no one will really know what you have at your disposal. You have dragons that let you board clear, destroy artifacts and enchantments, single target damage, and straight up face-smashing glory. The catch is that the dragons get exiled at the end of the turn you use them. Lukcily, this deck is full of tricks to keep your dragons around, or stash em away to use again later.

Your biggest, most powerful tricks are Conjurer's Closet, Synod Sanctum, Tel-Jilad Stylus, Helvault, Endless Sands, and Safe Haven. All of these prevent your dragons from being exiled at the end of turn, and store them away to be brought back again later. With the exception of Conjurer's Closet leaving the dragons directly in play, (Your best trick) and Tel-Jilad Stylus putting them back into the library to be pulled back out again later.

If you're having trouble finding those cards, or simply don't want those dragons anymore, there are a few other options to help your dragons go out with a bang. Artillerize and Fling are fun ways to dish out some extra damage. Chaos Warp puts the dragon back into your library and possibly gives you a new one instead. Flameshadow Conjuring pretty much gives you two dragons that you can just huck at your opponent for fun. And Hazoret's Favor just gives your dragons a little bit more bite, and sends them to the graveyard instead of exile.

Other than that, you have a ton of mana ramp and land searching to burn through your deck so you can get straight to those juicy dragons! There are a ton of fun little combos between certain dragons, so have fun exploring the combinations and eating your opponents alive!
