A deck I am thinking of using to get into modern, It is a bit of a budget deck, hence no fetchlands (I know there are four thoughtseizes in there but I already have those to hand). I am thinking of taking this to an upcoming tournament but want some input before I get the cards and start playtesting this.
The win con is using Liliana's Caress and Megrim to dish out the hurt as I force the opponent to discard cards, burning inquiry, reforge the soul and blightning will deal substantial damage for limited mana cost. Abyssal Nocturnus can get big as well to deal the final lethal.ideal start would be;turn 1; swamp, veinfire borderpost.turn 2; swamp, liliana's caressturn 3; land, liliana's caress, burning inquiry opponent at 8which should leave an opening for a turn 4 win.Not sure if I should play about with the removal, I feel five may be a bit short if the game goes to mid or late game, thoughts?
