Standard Izzet control, use counters and removal to control the board until the Aetherling can come down and start swinging. The Cyclops and Chimera provide early game pressure, while Melek is a bit of a fun card.Turns out this is a bit of a budget deck which is unusual for my normal Standard brews! Don't mind increasing the budget if anyone thinks of cards I have missed (Stormbreath comes to mind but not sure if that would work in this deck)Am stuck on the sidebaord though so any suggestions would be welcome :)
Keep it nice and simple, control the early board, Cyclops can come down and remove some early points of damage followed by Spellheart which should be quite pumped early on. Melek combines well with cards like opputunity or even the burn spells to make sure card advantage and board control is maintained.Aetherling used as a finisher.
