Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!

Lock down your opponents hand and the battlefield. Creatures that allow for control are High Priest of Penance and Sin Collector. Ajani's Presence allows for High Priest to be extremely annoying while also protecting your Scion. Ranger of Eos lets you grab the Dark Supplicants and Silence allows you stall to get your Scion out. Any advice would be great. Trying to keep it under $30 for a budget theme. Also Scion and Dark Supplicant destroy any legality so I'm not trying for that.

I like it. I'd swap Despise with Terror (or swords to plowshares or whatever): it's much better to let the opponent waste mana and possibly a turn to play something that will die, instead of making him discard it.Please clean up that ugly sideboard.

When play testing it, usually I am able to discard essential elements with the early discard and then maintain enough board control with Ajani's Presence and High Priest alongside using Silence for stall. I am thinking about throwing in a little bit more draw as it becomes really easy to drop my entire hand later in the game. 2 Remembrance might just be really fun as well for the games when I am unable to pull my Scion out by turn 2-4. I made a few changes, let me know if you think I still need the kill spells.My sideboards are just the cupboards of any potential cards. Too lazy to plan out sideboards for budget decks with my friends, just the base 60. Round robin tournament and then rinse and repeat
Maybe I wasn't clear enough, my bad, I'll try and better explain what I meant:I'm not against the concept of"Discarding", but I can't help but question the "Discard a creature from opponent's hand", unllike "Duress", which is fine because it lets you get rid of some nasty spells you wouldn't normally be able to deal with.I mean, Duress makes more sense because you don't have counterspells for Instant/Sorceries, and you don't have disenchants for Artifacts/Enchantments, but creatures are way more easiliy disposable. It's not necessarily wrong for you to play Despise instead of, let's say, "Vindicate". I just think it's not as useful as killing something the opponent has already played.Remembrance is a really smart choice, agreed 100%
Switched out the Despise for three Go For the Throat and one Athreos I had on hand for fun. The current deck I'm using is slightly different than above, but I think that might be my final product. The only thing I am considering is to swap out the Sin Collectors for another cleric. Not sure which cleric, just an idea though. Thanks for all your input! It has helped a ton.
Well Sin Collector fits quite nicely in your deck, but if you're looking for cheaper mana alternatives... as far as clerics goes, my absolute favorite is Mother of Runes (Pssst, check out my "White Essence" deck if you're interested xD). That creature is 100% gamebreaking. Grand Abolisher is a close second.I think you might also like Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, but it's not as strong in your specific deck concept. You need live clerics to bring out the Scion.Glad to be of help :)
