A budget approach to affinity that could swap Masters of Etherium for frogmites if your wallet is thin. Mox Opal is an optional card in this deck as I haven't had trouble hitting my colors due to the ever-handy springleaf drum and a couple of sulfur falls. Switch it out for another shrapnel blast. At 3.50 a piece, I think Etched Champion is definitely worth the price for entry. At 175 bucks I hate to call this "budget" but the fact is that with glimmervoids, the nexuses, more opals, and arcbound ravagers added the price of this deck skyrockets. I tried to make a deck that had the feel of affinity at a fraction of the cost.Tell me what you think!
Play artifacts. Get metalcraft active for empowered galvanic blasts and color-proof etched champions. Shred their early-game creatures with galvanic blast. Smack them around with ensouled darksteel citadels (or anything really) until they have 5 life left and finish them with a well-timed shrapnel blast to the face.
