Check out my mono black control deck I think it might give you a few ideas. I like a lot of what you bring here however. If you need something to sacrifice and bring back a bunch look into Bloodghast or reassembling skeleton.

Love the deamons, lots of good stuff here. You might want to look into some re-animator type stuff that would be going to the graveyard any way you can just sacrifice it to allow yourself to keep more blocking open while you use your beat sticks and don't have to worry about regrouping.

Get rid of those swords and put in some dispatches, if you do white artifacts there is no reason not to. Don't know if this is a modern or a legacy deck but I would look into ancient den's to help the metal craft with Puresteel, and while your at it how about some Inkmoth nexus, and how about a little mentor of the meek? You have a lot of good stuff in place but you can do so much more with just a few more cards.

So I think my final build for my Mono black control is done. I owe a lot of the final decision making to your example here so thank you for that. Take a look and tell me what you think.

damn when i put togather how this works well... color me impressed. I have always been interested in doing a myr deck and this one looks pretty nasty, so many awesome ways to abuse zero drops.

So I added in 2 bitterblossoms as a true finale to the build. Have you ever had it where the bitterblossom came close to killing you? Im just worried since it seems like the only way for me to get rid of it would be with smokestack. I mean I guess that once you get all those fliers you just swing and close it out but if I am bringing myself down with thoughtseize and the blossom I might have some problems.

Really what MBC is all about is removing everything that they have as quickly as possible. I see you have the beginnings of some great stuff but from the fact that your only creatures are coming from the bitterblossom and your taking damage from that and the arena and you have other cards that do damage to you I think you might need to rethink this. Consume spirit and drain life can help you out but if a high creature production deck is ready to stomp you gaining a little life wont be much of a help and your still taking damage every turn. Look at some disposeable creatures like reassembing skeleton and bloodghast and then consider something like Braids or Smokestack to give you some steady board removal.

Yea just played against a friends wolf blitz zoo deck and realized I might have to sideboard a few things for that. I find Crawlspace is a good way to spare some time but once his creatures are hitting the deck faster then I can put them in the graveyard I dont know what to do. And back to the blue counter control what do you tend to sideboard in and what do you take out??

well you inspired me to turn my MBC deck into a world shaking legacy badass MBC deck. I am only investing in 1 Nether void and 1 Abyss but I have a few fetches in there that will help me out. The one deck type that I have trouble with is Blue control (namely merfolk, isochron silence turn 2 kind of shit) how do you find this deck fairs against decks of that type?

cool idea! So basically you eitheir out flank your opponent with all your little guys or you make the battlesphere huge and swing all at once?

does no one use the swords? Fire and Ice, Light and Shadow, Mind and Body, Feast and Famine? When used together they can be absolutely devastating.

forget about Kaldra, the swords of fire and ice, light and shadow, mind and body, and feast and famine are where it is at with equipments. Also if you aren't going to stick to type 2 then I would take a look at Umezawa's Jitte, expensive I know but it is easily the best equipment in the game.

I have a mono red deck with virtually the same name. Its mono red (the ice comes from snow covered lands) and has a much different strategy but I thought that was funny. I really like this idea, I ran pyromancers early on in my build but found that I couldn't utilize it as well as I should be able to and you do a nice job of that here.

I tried running armament master and I don't know why I just don't like him. Perhaps if there were more Kor in there the deck would benefit more. I am thinking however that I can axe 2 cats for 2 steelshaper's gift which is a 1 drop fetch sorcery for any equipment. I think with quest, mystic, and 2 of those I will have a very nice balance of fetch and kill.

Also I was going to put bond of agony in my black deck but went with hatred instead so that might be something to look into as well. However that is more of a 1 on 1 kind of card but if you get your opponent at a loss by just 1 life at any point and can deal damage to him from a creature you got the game.
