I have always wanted to build a good deck around Slivers and Sanguine Bond. The enchantment is frowned upon competatively; hence i really wanted to make a fun casual combo counter deck. All of the cards were picked for the budget concious and a life gain control flavor.

Essence Sliver would work well with Sanguine Bond. Essence Sliver's ability is NOT lifelink, so it stacks for each additional Essence Sliver out.

The deck is steering modern relevant to avoid using Crystalline Sliver. Thanks, i do have that card.
Essence Sliver was printed in Time Spiral with the purple expansion symbol, thus it is legal in Modern. When in doubt, you can always double check on Gatherer:http://gatherer.wizards.com
Yep. Truth. I must have glossed over that. I have an old border foil one. I usually assume regarding old border cards. I forgot about Time Spiral slivers. I have the Legions copies.
