http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=magic/rules/tribalGood theme though, looks like it would play well. :)
http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=magic/rules/tribal"No sideboards are allowed in tribal formats."
True, but if speed is what ya need for sneak damage, it can make a difference in getting the damage through or being blocked.
Here's the old link, as it came out with magic online:http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=magic/rules/tribalMain rules as the link shows is 1/3rd deck must be the same creature type so in a 60 card deck 20 must be creature with the same type and that there is no sideboard. My decks marked as tribal meet the requirements. As to the changes to the actual card format, (some stores do run tournaments for the format), it still obeys the rules of legacy banned list but also bans any card that has "select creature type" with a negative effect. Positive effect cards are still playable of course (door to destines is quite common.) There is also a modern variant, but I've never seen a tourney with it.
I like this one. Looks like it would be fun. Just a note though, Tribal doesn't have sideboards.
With just 2 more cats and it'd be tribal. Like the deck, and not costly to build if you don't have the cards.Personally I'd run Leonin Shikari x4 due to the need of switching equipment fast for that extra surprise damage.
Who'd have thought the Fey could be so ruthless. I like this mill deck, well done. :)

You sir are a scholar and a gentlemen. A Tribal deck that also uses set restrictions...outstanding bravo! So few actually meet the tribal rules these days when posting a deck and you went beyond the call of duty and went even further.I salute you sir!Looks like it'd be a great deck to play. :)
"Frog Tribal is possible" looks at creature count...apparently not. Please retag to say "theme" and not tribal. Tribal is a format with specific rules or at least cards marked specifically as tribal in certain releases.I do apologize, I'm really not trying to bash here, but i am tired of people using the wrong tag as it makes searching for "tribal decks" a lot more work then it should be. I will say interesting theme, and combinations.
Not tribal by deck requirements (1/3rd deck must be same creature type) but I do find the theme to be quite unique.I too am also curious how well it plays, do tell. :)
Hope you got lots of dice for all the counters! :)I like.Door of Destinies could be useful and goes with the theme of elf + counters. Also +1 for having no Wellwisher, although you do have Nissa Revane doing the same.
Survey says...mill deck.Missing 4 creatures to be tribal. (1/3rd of deck requirement for tribal).
You'd need 4 more illusions for deck to be considered tribal, on that note, tribal doesn't have side boards. One of the good things about this specific format. I do like it, very interesting and unique. Only suggestion i might have, is maybe Lightning Greaves or Whispersilk Cloak. Keeps your illusions from being targeted, so they stay on the board much longer. On Phantom Warrior he's pretty much guaranteed to get through every turn.
Tagged as tribal but doesn't meet the minimum creature count (20 in a 60 card deck EG:1/3rd of the deck), no side boards either.Should be tagged as theme deck.
My version of the wall deck, extremely low budget:http://www.mtgvault.com/xovian/decks/tribal-l-ultimate-defender/
