Deck Description

This is a real deck I play often and its always developing and changing... open to opinions and help.

How to Play

Lavalanche, Mage Slayer and Rogues Passage are the Easy win conditions. Corpsejack and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx create some great synergy and make huge trampling Hydras which can also be big winning conditions.

Deck discussion for Hydras

This looks like a really fun deck to play. Only thought that I had was the Hammer of Purphoros. Nothing like dropping a crazy big Hydra only to have it have haste too!

Sideboarded. I really like that Idea. I dont believe I actually have any lol, but It could be fun to play with. Maybe switch mage slayer out for the Hammer.

I see what you did here, this is a very interesting take on a hydra deck.. here is another take on one if you want to look at it, actually, would you mind taking a look? I would love another opinion!

Hey, so you told me about Rogue's passage, and I added that, and then I was looking for a better, cheaper option. I found this: Glaring Spotlight This is an artifact that makes all of your creatures unblockable, and makes enemy cards with hexproof able to be targeted. Just another thought, I will let you know if I run into anything further

I like Glaring spotlight, but I personally like Rogue's Passage better because it can be reused over and over. You have to sacrifice the Spotlight to use it once.

That is true, I guess it depends on how you play your deck

I like your deck however the mana curve is to out of whack. I think that you should help with creating the best consistent deck. Other then that I like the deck. It is super fun and kewl. I would like to see it in action.

well the 2 drops in the mana curve is actually around 6 considering the hydras with X in the mana cost. It focuses on midgame monster drops that usually win the game with one turn when combined with rogues passage, mage slayer and Jarad.

Its always fun to make a hydra the exact size as someones life total, then second main phase sacrifice it with Jarad.

it takes about 3 to 4 turns to get the hydras in play at the size I'm happy with. Games usually don't last longer than 10 turns. And I can surprisingly pump out hydras at the same rate a lot of people can play removal.

And, if primordial, kalonian, or corpsejack get any interaction, I often win the game with 100+ life using predator's rapport.

I understand. I would play a card like Asceticism or something like that to help with that. It also helps with reg. Other then that I like the deck. Looks super fun and fast.

I might try to get some of the asceticism. might trade out predators rapport.
Thanks for the advice.
