Deck Description

This is my first deck. The main outline is control with Sen Triplets acommander, but you can always have a swing with Sharuum as commander and play combo artifact.

How to Play

Deck play smooth and has a lot of options. Quite powerfull 1 on 1 but challenging in FFA.

This is my first deck, love to hear some feedback!

Deck discussion for Heartless Minds

Having a deck with interchangable commanders usually leads it to being more of a "good stuff" list and less powerful then you could make it designed around one or the other. Pick one, design it around that general. Sharuum is a combo general. While you may not play her that way, that is how she is seen and you'll have to deal with that reputation with her at the helm. Sen is more controlling.

You have a dozen or more CITP lands. This is too many and will slow you down significantly.

Manalith is terrible. You have enough artifact mana without it and would be better off just replacing it with something more useful.

The two M13 rings are also underwhelming. There are better options for both the protection and resilience effects. Neurok Stealthsuit has the same cost as the Ring of Evos Isle but can also be moved at instant speed to protect any creature you control for the same payment of giving one creature hexproof (which can now be ignored anyway). Darksteel Plate costs a bit more but also makes the creature indestructible which is far better. There are other options as well that could be seen as even better but they are a bit more expensive.

Additional suggestions can't really be made without a specific general in mind...

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I have played it now several times, and you are totally right about the CITP lands, it def slows me down. Do u have some suggestions about which lands to replace? Manalith is great for sen triplets, as you need mana of any color. It didnt bother at all in my plays.

My first try of this deck was built around sen triplets, with almost no artifact creatures and a lot of control / defence mechanics. But to be diverse, I tangled some combos to with Sharuum and somehow it got into this split wizard / artifact deck, It works quite nice tbh, both commanders play well in this. Sen Triplets has enough protections in this deck, but sheruum also plays nice with the combos in it. The runs I had with it was quite fun!

Honestly, anything that comes in tapped is fair game. It looks like you may have already tweaked the lands though.

Manalith is terrible because all it does is tap for a mana of your general's color (it doesn't produce mana outside your colors). For the exact same price you could get Darksteel Ingot that is indestructible, Basalt Monolith taps for 3 and can infinite combo, Keyrunes can fill in as attackers/blockers when you have nothing else to do, Chromatic Lantern can give your lands the same ability, Coalition Relic can ramp you two mana of any color. Borderposts can help you hit a land drop, xxxx of ramos artifacts can ramp two mana, Vessel of Endless Rest can tuck a card, etc... That doesn't even touch on the artifact mana of different mana costs. For what it does, it is one of the worst possible choices.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! My group didnt know the rule that you could not even produce mana outside. Did some tweaking now and will be testing it this week.

Thanks again man ;)
