Took this for a spin last Thursday with a slightly different lineup. Durdled against mono white devotion and then did very well against what was more or less R/B dragons. Only had one managorger hydra, but it did not disappoint. Got my hands on two more and will try for the fourth. Had soulfire grand master in place and didn't really like those.

Day's has 2 problems for me: it reshuffles their graveyard, and it ends the turn without triggering tutelage. I think a better big draw might be dark deal which mills and triggers tutelage. Plus with black you have hard kill and hand disruption. Not sure if the third color is worth it or not.
With the "dragons matter" cards like scorn you probably want 6 dragons. Another Ojutai or try icefall regent. I'd also think about cutting the nullify and maybe a dissapate or 2, you have a lot of countermagic. Also, prerogative is very expensive. I'd make that a one of and then add 2 anticipate. Maybe look at last breath, at least for sideboard since it kills goblins early.
EDIT: Took out sylvan caryatid, replaced with soulmender. Also removed the singleton Elspeth. Temporary replacement is Nyx-fleece ram, but think I might prefer a third selesnya charm.
Thanks, I generally play selesnya or naya. there is just something about gaining life and playing a lot of creatures that appeals to me.
Tried this out and found that it was pretty good at stalling but had a lot of trouble with a) protection and b) closing. Need to add more scry lands, anger of the gods and heliod. Elspeth would be a good choice too, just out of my budget right now. Also need to try devour flesh or renounce the guilds in the sideboard for threats like obzedat and blood baron with additional doom blade or ultimate price for master of waves and stormbreath dragon.
Thanks, and true it is more aggro, guess I'm just referring to the creature control. Need to add a sideboard sometime.
I think the biggest change I would make if I had the cash would be to add 2 snapcaster mages in place of the cathedral sanctifiers.
1. Index is pretty good. It works in the early game to get the good stuff and with the seer to order the least amount of pain. 2. I wanted to do this deck as cheaply as possible so that's why no shocks. I'll add them as I get them. 3. The best play so far seems to be Dimir charm to put their biggest spell on top, seer to burn them then duress (or appetite for brains) to take it away.I like your deck, similar idea like you said. I would love to add in Rakdos return in this one. Also thinking about cyclonic rift. Oh, and tragic slip would be good, especially to fight off things like Boros reckoner.
