a grixis control deck i made. please help me with the deck, i am not as experienced as most other players so im not sure if this deck is good, this deck is made to fit the next standard format after "return to ravnica" is released, which is why there might be cards you are missing. the deck will be updated when RTR is released.

Your control is about normal for an average grixis deck, but the fact that your dead in the water until turn 4 is a bit of a problem. Your only first turn spell is tragic slip and in the deck you have its usless becuase your not going use morbid, using dismember would be the replacing choice. Sadly your fighting up hill battle and any fast play deck will run you down before you can get close to getting out the cool spells. I'd simple take out a spell or two and take the lands down to 24 and add in a fodder base creature that can help you control, maybe discard. All in all grixis isn't a fast deck color but your deck wont survive long enough to get out more then 1 Olivia.

I Agree with Crowleyz. I think you should cut the desperate ravings and put in 4 delver of secrets. Your deck is mostly spell based right? You could also toss in a singular Talrand.
