yea i always use 3/4 vines of vastwood, maybe ill side 2 rancor. i like the idea of running that better than groundswellstill on the fence about mutagenic, but who knows.. after playtesting some more i may throw it in

i agree it can be, ive always been on the fence about it though. will be putting it in again regardless and test it out some more. maybe itll change my mind.keep in mind that i mostly play against burn decks. two of the people i play with have their favorite "turn 3 win burn deck woohoo so legit" lol. which is why i like splitting the 4 damage into 2 sets of 2 with prey's vengeance. im used to getting a lightning bolt response to my groundswells and giant growths. prey's vengeance and vines of vastwood have always been very effective against that

was considering mutagenic, but im not a big fan.in my experience, groundswell is less effective in play than it sounds on paper, i used to own this deck and have run it many times (sold cards, looking to buy again). it is a low mana deck and thus groundswell ends up being +2/+2 more than one would think. i prefer prey's vengeance, but thats just my opinion. however, phyrexian crusader is going in! thanks for the tip, didnt know about him! shouldve done some more searching..
