Deck Description

It's a Burn Deck! And from my experience it's a dangerous one, if you manage to get the mana going. I got the idea for this deck when I played a pre-made that had Fire Servant and Lava Axe in it, and I was pleased by the amplified damage I could deal out.

How to Play

EDIT: This is SO out of date. Fixing soon. 30/08/14

The objective of this deck is to get your Fire Servants out there and do as much direct damage as is possible within one turn, which if you're playing right, will end the game right there.

This deck is reliant on getting the cards and mana you need, as quick as possible, which isn't easy if you're playing against competent players.

Get the Fog Banks and Nivix Cyclops out there to keep the enemy from damaging you via creatures, which is largely a stall tactic. Goblin Electromancers are there to reduce spell costs, and Izzet Guildmages will be there to multiply some of those spells.

Cancel, Mana Leak, Dispel, and Remand are there to stall the game out, as well as deal with those pesky Blue decks. Call To Mind to bring back spells sent to the grave already.

Pyroclasm and Chandra's Fury are there to deal with Weeny decks.

Once you have your mana and Fire Servants ready, play the Fire Servants. By the next untap, you should be able to throw Lava Axes into your opponents faces and One Shot them. Use other Damage spells and Reverberate as needed.

In Multiplayer games, you will be quickly designated as the biggest threat on the table, especially after one shotting someone. Be sure to have both Fire Servants out and Multiple Reverberates and Lava Axes to eliminate the rest of your opponents, as your are unlikely to survive much long after.

Optionally throw a Curse of Bloodletting in there to add another doubling of damage on a single opponent. It also paints a target on one of your enemies in a multiplayer match.

Chandra, Pyromancer is handy for getting additional damage out, getting another card into play, and even wreaking havoc with her Ultimate Ability.

tl;dr version: Get that Mana, Get those Fire Servants, and burn people, ASAP.

Deck discussion for Explodination

curse of bloodletting or furnace of rath needs to be here. They are expensive to cast but man are they worth it.

You should be running 4x Skullcrack in your sideboard to go against ligegain decks. Leyline of Punishment could be ran as a 1 of in main to for certainty. :)
