The main combo is having Banalish Commander and Battlefield Thaumaturge on the field, then playing launch the fleet for one (W), and casting it to target all your creatures since Thaumaturge reduces the Strive cost to (0), you then swing out, and nearly double your soldier count, making Banalish beefy as all get out.Add in a Xenograft to make your tokens human for Champion of the parish, or make Thaumaturge a soldier for the sake of Banalish Commander.For added fun, save up your blue mana and change a few creatures into copies of Banalish using Polymorphous Rush. This works especially well on Thaumaturge as it increases it's power and toughness and adds to the soldier count until end of turn.
