I want to build a B/W control for modern format. I want it to be the standard 60 cards and a sideboard, but other than that all I know is that I don't care for extort outside of EDH. Help me build it! I gave it a mana base to start, but I am not sure where I want to start. I am taking all suggestions! =)

My first thought is using Alms Beast and removing the foes blockers to attack for the win.

how does giving your oppnent life help you win? alms beast is pretty bad.
Making sure they cant block and not blocking with it. Trying to use it as a main attacker and removing potential blockers.
seems like an expensive option and something else youd have to workaround. too many moving parts. Killing Wave is better lol

Anyways, your land base is very much for Standard, so lets start there. 4 Godless Shrine 4 Isolated Chapel 5 Swamp 5 Plains 4 Marsh Flats 2 Vault of the Archangel (im assuming youll have creatures, if not add another swamp and plains here) also sideboard 3 Bojuka Bog for reanimator matchups.
then we can jump to spells. you say you want control, and in modern, blacks best control is discard, and white carries the removal. 4x Thoughtseize 4x Inquisition of Kozilek 2x Path to Exile 2x Unmake
as far as creatures go, Im thinking for a control base, undying would be good, recurring creatures would be good..so: 4x Gravecrawler 4x Geralf's Messanger 4x Bloodghast 4x Dark Confidant
then you can plug in just about anything. High Priest, Damnation, Mutilate, Killing Wave, Duress, Doom Blade, maybe one of Yosei, Angel's Grace is an ass saver, Reveillark gets your dark confidant back from the grave, Bridge from Below synergyzes amazingly with the creatures I listed,
You should look up to modern version of Death & Taxes which is powerful in my opinion. If I recall correctly someone won a modern grandprix with this kind of deck.

Obzedats Aid and Deathpact angel are both a little expensive to run 4 of, in my opinion

Updated, added the lilianas. Removed 2 angels and nixed obzedat. Brought in 2 living deathSwaped in 3 Bojuka Bogs for the Living Deaths
seems decent.
