Deck Description

Randomly one day I was like "You know what would be fun? Equipment." So I built a deck around equipment I like and which would be "budget." I didn't want to spend $300 on a crazy artifact deck.

Obviously my favorite mechanics in the game are lifelink and double strike, particularly together.

Obviously this is only for casual, kitchen-table play... since it's not legal in any format ever.

How to Play

Ok, this is really complicated but here goes:

1. Drop a white creature.
2. Equip it.
3. Repeat.

Puresteel obviously helps move equipment around faster, Stoneforge lets you grab Argentum Armor if you haven't pulled it already by mid-game, Archangel protects your shit from a lot of artifact hate (you should probably Swiftfoot Boots her to make it REALLY annoying). Bonus points if you can slap Brave the Elements on an attacking Mirran Crusader equipped so that he's a 12/10 with double strike (and lifelink, or deathtouch).

... of course the first time your opponent overloads Vandalblast, you're fucked.

Deck discussion for Mirran Eqiupment

Steelshaper's gift, Dispatch and a sword or two would make this deck better.

Well, I figured that Stoneforge Mystic is doing the work Steelshaper's Gift would be doing. Granted, for one mana more, but her tap ability makes her worth it (in my mind). I've thought about Dispatch (a lot) and might switch it in soon. It is a good card. Obviously some swords would be great but I'll have to save up for a while to afford them.

Honor of the Pure, coat of arms

Interesting - I wouldn't play Coat of Arms because in my Meta, most everyone plays some kind of tribal (or at least has a tribal deck), so Coat of Arms would hurt me more than it would help me. Honor of the Pure is something I run in my other white weenie deck, but I'm not sure this deck needs it all that much. But I'll sure think about it.

Thanks for the comment!

Also faiths shield could do artifact protection in addition to creature protection, as the artifacts are the weak part of this build

Nice solid deck!! Etched Champion may be nice in here as well for a perm all color protection

That's a good idea. I might do that. In place of what, do you think? Mirran Crusader? Or Sunspear Shikari?

I might take out 1 crusader and 1 shikari for 2 etched champions and do some play testing to see how it goes and adjust as you like. That way you dont cut into your nice 2 drops too much
