The difference between this version and my earlier build is that my earlier one didn't have enough beaters and ended up having too slow of a start to compete with Jund and RDW. I ran allies for a few weeks and immediately the loss of Sea Gate Loremaster and cancels were felt to board sweepers so I tried splashing blue back in but it ended up being too inconsistent a mana base for matches with spreading seas/land destro.
