Might of Oaks, and the Unblock..

by Zamfir on 27 December 2009

Main Deck (61 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Unblockable creatures, llanowar elves for mana accel for turn 3 9 dmg turns (with might of oaks) and tukatongues and winged coatl for blocking.

Please tell me what you think

I know it says tournament quality, i know it isn't but im broke and ill be using a version of this for tournaments, so don't ride my ass. =]

Please aid me with sideboard and some card selections, (4 fogs, 3 tukas? 4 tukas 3 fogs? etc etc)

All suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

**How it has been playing, I beat a few good standard decks worth triple or way more than this deck. It is consistant because of all of the multiples of cards and I get many 8 or 9 dmg turns before turn 5 or 6.

Deck discussion for Might of Oaks, and the Unblockables. Standard!

I am not too sure if I actually need Garruk, and I am not sure whether or not I should have 4 fogs, 3 tukas, or 4 tukas and 3 fogs, or take out garruk and have 4 of both.

I like have 61 card decks for some reason.

I think this would be alot better if there was another unblockable creature released in worldwake.

I could take out winged coatls, or tukatongues if that were the case.

Looks solid enough, the only problem I can see is against control heavy decks or any decks running volcanic fallout and pyroclasm. But try remove the Winged Coatl and Garruk and add 3x Sleep and you will kill aggro decks easier. Of course you could also keep Garruk and only add 2 up yo you, but I feel that Sleep fits the deck well.

Good idea. I got raped by a white/blue control deck, but i usually put up a fight against everything else seemed okay.

Thanks.

I think you should definitely run 4 Fogs, you should obviously be attacking with your unblockable creatures every turn and you'll need something for defense.

Also, if you have the money, swap the Llanowars for Noble Hierarchs, unblockable and exalted are a cool combination.

lol just had the (pretty strange maybe) idea of hive mind. got lots of those but never had an actual deck that could make use of them. this one could tho if u take out sleep again. just for laughs mostly but im sure u wouldnt care if they copy your giant growths etc. as they cant do anything with them on the blocking side and whenever they try to remove something u get a free removal in return xD. most likely not whats going to happen in a slightly competitive deck but i think id play it for a few matches just for the lols ;).
