Deck Description

I just thought of this tonight. I played it a few times and it performed O.K. I think it could work.

I really want to use Stone Haven Outfitter after rotation. I think I'll start here.

How to Play

There's a cute combo with Sword of the Animist and Slab Hammer: stack the sword's trigger on top of the hammer's and you can return the land that the sword found; plus that's a landfall trigger. Relic Seeker can search up which ever one you need.

Slab Hammer and Sword will both help hit Landfall triggers.

Deck discussion for RW Equipment?

I don't feel prowess is the best ability for this deck. To my knowledge, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, prowess is only going to trigger when the player cast a non-creature spell aka you tapping mana to put a card into play. it will not proc for activated abilities, equipment being equipped, or when an enchantment's ability is activated. so while yes you do have 20 cards to work with between enchantments and artifacts, I just want to make sure you knew that. Also I'm curious as to why Felidar is in your sideboard with no lifegain in this deck.

Prowess: I did know that. I was just trying to find some cheap creatures so casting and equipping in the same turn was possible. When that's not possible, at least I get a prowess trigger from casting artifacts is an OK consolation prize; though it probably won't be relevant once my opponent gets some board presence.

In v1, Dragon Fodder and Hordeling Outburst replaced Seeker and Swiftspear. I went back on that plan because I've seen Virulent Plague more and more in B sideboards recently. I am definitely open to suggestions. The creature base has been the hardest part to figure out.

Felidar: The thought was to try to trigger his ability by swinging with a seeker or felidar with one or more helms equipped. In tests, I've been able to get roughly 3-4 enchantments out per game => 4/6 + h*(4/4); it seems possible. It was a last minute add to fill the board. Honestly, I'm not sure when I would side him in.

Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have any ideas.
