Deck Description

I decided to build this deck when I was trying to make home for my Scavanging Oozes and Chandra, Pyromaster after they rotate out of standart.
This madness could use 4 Tarmogoyfs. Dammit, aint nobody got money for that. But even withou Goyfs - if you are looking for a budget deck, go away :-D this one is pretty damn expensive.

For some inspiration I used Brian Kibler's decks:
1) http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/gpdet13/welcome
2) http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/gpsd13/welcome

I also considered landdestruct with: Boom // Bust and Fulminator Mage

Other powerfull spells I considered for either main deck or sideboard:
Thrun, the Last Troll
Sigarda, Host of Herons
Linvala, Keeper of Silence
Kitchen Finks
Boros Reckoner
Huntmaster of the Fells
Mirran Crusader
Hero of Bladehold
Loxodon Hierarch
Aven Mindcensor
Woolly Thoctar
Obstinate Baloth
Ghor-Clan Rampager
Sublime Archangel
Restoration Angel
Raging Ravine
Pyroclasm
Choke
Shatterstorm
Vandalblast
Leyline of Sanctity

In your sideboard you have 3 leylines.
Leylines is kind of a all or nothing card, 4 or 0
Rest of the deck looks good, I don't see anything wrong and I'm not familiar with modern (I play legacy instead) the only card that comes to mind is thalia

I would love to have 4 leylines in my sb, but there are so many other cards and decks that need answers and sideboard is only 15 cards. I will try it and decide if 3 are worth it.
Thalia is probably more of a legacy card. In modern I have seen her only in white weenie. She hurts combos (like storm) which are rarely played in modern. And against control there are better spells for this deck (like Voice of Resurgance). Sadly, she would hurt 1/3 of my spells.

They problems with 3 leylines is that you either has to mull to it or just have (almost) dead cards. 3 gives you approximately a 30% chance to have it in your opener. 4 gives a roughly 40% chance. I'm familiar with leylines probibilties cause of legacy
